There are schools actually getting away with this? While we need permission in advance to offer a pizza lunch day to raise money ourselves? I haven't heard anything like this happening out here. Maybe it's a metropolitan thing and not happening out here then, which I'm glad for our sakes at least. Wonder if they're private schools... they don't have to run on all of the same government rules as we do. I still find it hard to believe this sort of thing is widespread. I seriously hope not. WTF? We are a preschool. Yet Colgate refused to send me info on a toothbrush/toothpaste fundraising combo because we are a PreSchool and the toothpaste is for ages 6+.
